POSPORT is a suite of numerical simulation and visualisation modules. It has been developed in-house based on the extensive expertise applied by Royal Haskoning in the areas of Port Master Plan studies and specific detailed port development projects. The modelling suite is continually being extended and enhanced as the industry itself evolves to changing requirements and increasing demands.
A key feature of the software package is the ability to allow the designer to vary the pace of simulation from real time up to several thousand times faster than real time. The main reason for the inclusion of a visualisation is to enable simulations to be monitored on screen to ensure that the simulation remains representative of a real operation.
The underlying basis for these simulations is to provide a cost effective and efficient approach to design optimisation associated with the development of port facilities.

RTS has been developed to allow the user to explore the dynamic inter-relationships between the various RoRo cargoes including accompanied and unaccompanied freight, unaccompanied containerised freight, and private vehicles within a user-modelled terminal area.
RTS is an analytical tool that allows the many and varied features of a RoRo terminal to be modelled explicitly. The terminal is modelled as a whole, not as separate components (eg berths, parking areas, gates, etc.), to ensure that the interactions between all the activities of a terminal are modelled precisely.
